ROADMAP
A biblical path to growing and maturing in your faith. The bible instructs and encourages to be continually growing in our faith. There is a very distinct progression or roadmap for our faith in Christ from the scriptures. This is not an optional process if you wish to live in the fullness of God’s grace, goodness and favor, and desire to live a life that brings joy to God and allows you to flourish in all areas of your life as God designed.
Faiths Confession (Romans 10:9-10). We give our lives to Jesus Christ through faith by confessing that He died for sins, restoring us to relationship with the Father – that is salvation. Click here for a message on Salvation.
SALVATION
Declaration of faith (Acts 2:37-38). We are baptized by immersion in water as a symbol and public confession of our faith in Christ. Symbolically, in baptism, we identify with the death and resurrection of Jesus. It signifies death and burial to our old sinful nature going under the water and the old person being buried with Christ, and the new person rising in His resurrection as we come out of the water. BAPTISM
GROWTH TRACKS
Building a foundation (Matthew 7:24-28). It’s important to build a good foundation, the basic building blocks of our faith. We begin the process of growing in our faith in Christ by maturing in our understanding of Jesus’ mission for us individually, and as His church. Building relationships and using your gifts (Hebrews 10:25, Mark 10:45). Getting connected into the local church is essential for any believer to grow and mature in their faith and is commanded. This is a combination of developing relationships with other faithful believers who are growing and doing life together, as well as finding your fit to serve in the local church. Both of these bring a richer and more fulfilling experience to your Christian faith.
